Tiny Ghost Press Newsletter 2.0, Issue #12, February 28, 2025

Hello Ooky-spookies,

On April 1st (no, really) we’ll be releasing our first new book of the year, Blackblood by Kree Sullivan. Blackblood tells the story of Armina, a teenage smuggler who inherits a truck full to the brim with illegal magical artefacts. Some magic-hating Huntsmen get wind of this and shenanigans of course ensue! With no-one but Armina’s irritable ex-girlfriend for company, she must follow in the footsteps of her recently murdered Captain and use the Blackblood for its intended purpose, smuggling.

They soon discover, amongst the magical artefacts is a stowaway mage, dripping their black blood all over the Blackblood. Taking this as a sign, and giving in to the mage’s pleas for help, they embark on an almost-certainly-doomed mission to help rescue the mage’s mother from the Huntmen’s headquarters in the Western mountains.

Tearing across a dust bowl wasteland towards the dark spires in the west, secrets from Armina’s past come into view, lit by the blinding headlights of the roaring truck. To find out what happens, of course you must pre-order the book!

In the meantime though, Kree Sullivan has written some exclusive prequel chapters, and as one of our absolutely stunning subscribers to the Tiny Ghost Press newsletter, you will receive these directly to your inbox very soon, so keep an eye out. And over on Instagram we’ll be introducing you to the characters to get you familiar.

In other exciting news, The Alpha’s Son: Special Edition is out now! We’ve answered the call, and resized the book so that it sits beautifully alongside Chasing The Alpha’s Son, and Running With The Alpha’s Son, when that is out later in the year. Inside you’ll find 4 brand new illustrations by the talented Kayleigh Fine, of our favourite boys, Max and Jasper, as well as a new chapter from Jasper's perspective and a letter from the author, Penny Jessup. You can order a copy wherever books are sold.

For all the book lovers and content creators out there, we are developing our own Influencer Program and we’re on the look out for people who are passionate about talking about our books with their audience. Of course it’s an added bonus if you have a huge online following, but we’re here for the journey, not just the destination, so if you have a small but engaged following don’t be discouraged from applying. We’ll use it as a place to post announcements, resources, submission guidelines and also dedicated places to talk about the individual books we publish, so hopefully you can find other like minded people to foster community with!
